About This Product

Optifoam® Adhesive Gentle Wound Dressing is a foam dressing with an adhesive border designed to cover and protect wounds. The 4 × 4 inch size is a square dressing featuring a gentle silicone contact layer and adhesive border. Its foam construction is designed to absorb wound exudate while providing a protective covering. The silicone layer is intended to provide gentle adhesion and support comfortable dressing removal. The 4 × 4 inch version is commercially available in a 10-count package. Some Optifoam Gentle EX versions feature a silicone-faced foam construction with a Liquitrap core. The product is part of the Optifoam line from Medline.
