Ashwagandha – FAQs

What are the health benefits of Ashwagandha?

Ashwagandha has been known to provide a number of health benefits, which may include better sleep, lowered stress, increased fertility, bolstered immunity, improved stamina, lowered blood pressure, strengthened muscles, balanced hormones, and support for a number of conditions (including asthma, anemia, depression, arthritis, and chronic fatigue).

How long does Ashwagandha take to work?

With any type of health or nutritional supplement, there’s no set duration in which you’ll start to feel product effectiveness. The dosage, the intended use and individual factors will play a role. However, Ashwagandha can often start to make a difference in the body within a couple of weeks; for some, it could take a few months to notice the full effect. We recommend enjoying daily in small amounts!

What is an adaptogen?

Adaptogens are a classification of  non-toxic herbs and plants that are beneficial to overall well-being and that aid in reducing and regulating stress. Studies published on adaptogens show they aid to support adrenal health in a similar way to how regular exercise can help strengthen muscles. Ashwagandha is classified as an adaptogen, which means that it can help your body handle stress more effectively.
