From the Greek "oura" meaning tail, and "boros" meaning devouring, the Ouroboros is the serpent eating its own tail in an endless cycle that represents the ever turning wheel of life, death, and rebirth.  Life and Infinity.  The oldest found reference to the Ouroboros is in a book found within KV62... the official Egyptolical designation for the famous tomb of Tutankhamun.  The symbol is found over and over again through history from Roman talismans, to references in medieval alchemy, and even in Native American art.  Such a symbol, standing the test of time... millennia even... is both fascinating and mysterious.  How has this symbol come to mean so much, to so many?
