Neova's overnight cream. The brand calls its pairing of a DNA repair enzyme with Copper Peptide Complex DNA Cofactor, and this is that pairing in a night cream rather than a serum.
What is in it
Copper Peptide Complex, listed as Bis (Tripeptide-1) Copper Acetate, fourteenth on the ingredient list. One DNA repair enzyme, Micrococcus Lysate, fifteenth. Three ceramides, EOP, NP and AP, sixteenth to eighteenth, then sodium hyaluronate nineteenth. Those actives run consecutively through the middle of the list.
Neova's own account of the enzyme: "the liposome-encapsulated DNA repair enzyme UV-endonuclease derived from the marine microorganism Micrococcus Lysate; this UV-resistant DNA Repair Enzyme helps improve the appearance of sun-damaged skin."
The enzyme here is not the one in the day cream. Creme de la Copper carries Arabidopsis Thaliana Extract instead, so the day and night creams are not one formula relabelled.
Who Neova writes it for
In the brand's words, "all skin types, even the most sensitive, in need of overnight repair of UV damage and hydration." There is no retinol and no acid in it, which is what makes the sensitive-skin line credible. Neova states this outright in its own FAQ: Night Therapy does not contain retinol.
Use it at night, after your serum
Evenings, on clean skin, after whichever serum you use, over face and neck. That is Neova's direction in order, and the brand sells Creme de la Copper as the morning half of the same routine. Nothing goes over this one; it is the last step of the evening. Neova says face and neck, not the decollete.
