Intermediate Kit - Building upon our Standard Kit, the Intermediate Kit incorporates (2) HyFinĀ® Vent Compact Chest Seals; vented chest seals are used to treat penetrating chest wounds, particularly in patients with entrance and exit wounds (gunshot wounds being a common example). The unique design allows air to escape the chest cavity during exhalation but not make its way back in during inhalation. Each seal is coated with a highly adhesive gel, allowing it to be successfully applied in the presence of blood, sweat, or other bodily fluids. |
| Premium Kit - The Premium Kit includes all contents from the Standard & Intermediate Kits, with the final addition of eitherĀ QuikClot Bleeding Control DressingĀ or NuStat 4x4 Hemostatic Gauze. These OTC hemostatic dressings contain hemostatic agents which accelerateĀ the bodyās natural blood-clotting abilities. This allows for faster bleeding control than traditional gauze. |
