I remember as a kid visiting my grandparents in small town USA. Eagle Lake Texas to be exact. The post office is the center of town. Around it are buildings that back in their glory days would have been filled with shops that provided so much to their community. Today though, many are empty. The barbershop is still there though. When I was a kid my dad would take us to the barber that cut his hair when he was growing up. Walking in you could just smell that classic scent. The shop filled with powdery oakmoss, rosemary and lemon. All the local old men sitting in there talking about sports or politics. It was just a gathering spot to discuss whatever. The barber would always say to us, "Well, you came to get your ears chopped off huh? Well I am the barrbarr for ya!". So this soap is our version of the classic barbershop scent. The one I remember as a kid.

Another great Barbershop scent that is easy on the skin.

I own many different colognes and aftershave and have really gotten into the barbershop scents lately. When I received this one and sampled it, I thought this smells very familiar. First it is not a very powerful scent it sets pretty close to the skin as an aftershave should. The quality to me is top notch on the skin and the scent. Staying power is good 6-8 hrs I can still get wafts of it. As for the scent it is smells just like Jovan heat (which is discontinued) I have a bottle of it from the 90's and that is what smelled so familiar with BARRBARR. It's all good a great after shave that captures the nostalgia of years past. You can't go wrong with this one.

Have penchant for barbershop soaps. Noble Otter products are top notch. One of my favorite barbershop scents. And this product performs at high level.
