Catie's Bubbles (named after the soap maker's daughter) is getting a lot of buzz these days. This artisan soap maker, Chris, makes his bubbles with simple, natural, vegetable and fruit based ingredients. His Catie's Bubbles Shaving Soap, Le Marche du Rasage is a custom scent designed for wet shavers who wanted a light, fresh, aquatic fougere. He nailed it.
This shaving requisite is a French style soft soap. Coconut oil and glycerin make it a winner in slickness and moisture, just what you need to get the BBS shave you desire. The naturally occurring glycerin and soap salts also make it a thirsty soap. Add water slowly as you whip up a top quality lather. And allow the soap to dry completely after each use. At 8 oz. of soap, you will get superior results for many shaves!
This custom scent was requested by The Shave market group, and now it is offered to you. Le Marche du Rasage takes a basic fougere (a perfume classification for green "fern-like" scents) and adds fresh aquatic top notes. Base notes of oakmoss, vetiver, and coumarin provide the fougere. Then clean top notes are added for the aquatic tone. This scent is not overwhelming or overpowering and pairs well with a nautical cologne.
Size: 4oz. (poured into an 8 oz. tub so there is plenty of room to lather.)
