Prepare your tools: You'll need a shaving brush, a shaving bowl or mug (optional), and a sharp razor.

Warm the brush (optional): Soak the bristles of your shaving brush in warm water for a few minutes to soften them (creates a more luxurious lather).

Create a lather: Depending on the soap's consistency, you can lather it directly in a bowl/mug with the brush or apply it to your face directly with the brush.

Apply the lather: Use a circular motion to spread the shaving lather over your shaving area.

Shave: For the first pass, shave with a sharp razor in the direction your hair grows. For a closer shave, you may do a second pass against the grain (be cautious to avoid irritation).

Rinse and moisturize: Rinse your face with cool water and pat it dry with a clean towel. Apply a moisturizer suitable for your skin type to hydrate and soothe your face after shaving.
