This is my second al13, the first being an aggressive which was a bit too much for me. This medium is just right. The shave is comfortable and gets under my nose better than any other razor.
The Henson ++ has taken it's place among the top razors in my collection.

Henson AL13 razor

I’ve been a wet shaver for many , many years and have used almost as many different razors. This is certainly the lightest one I’ve ever used and it does take getting used to. I got the medium since I deal with the sensitive skin issue and I’ve had absolutely no issues at all. Maybe the best razor I’ve used for that sensitive neck area dilemma. I don’t get much audible stubble feed back and the razor does not glide very well, but it works well with short strokes for me. I’ve used several different soaps, pre shaves and altered soap hydration and just can’t get that glide I’m used to. But I get great close shaves with no nicks or irritation and in the end that’s what really matters.

Henson razor review

I appreciate and like the design of the item. I put in a blade provided with razor and found that the closeness of the shave was less than desired. I will replace the blade with a blade I am more familiar with and see what the results are.
