Our razors are manufactured with the same Aerospace processes and in the same facility that produces components for the Mars Rover, International Space station, and production style work on Low Earth Orbit Satellites. This razor is designed and manufactured with extreme precision in mind. While most of our competition builds in allowance for casting and painting, Henson Shaving required and achieved remarkable five-ten-thousandth of an inch (0.0005) tolerance on critical dimensions through the machining and anodizing process. This means your blade sits straight every time. The blade support creates the most accurate blade exposure on the market. Accurate blade exposure combined with our unique design means no vibration in the blade (or chatter). Chatter is what causes razor burn and in-grown hairs.

 

RK Shaving Stainless DE Razor Blades -  5 Blades Included. 

These stainless steel, double-edge blades are specifically made to the dimensions of the Henson AL13. RK Shaving double-edged blades have an extremely high quality of manufacturing with consistent performance and sharpness that performs well when paired with the Henson AL13 (or Ti22).
This blade will work in all double-edged safety razors.

Prep: Soften your beard with warm water and shaving cream or soap.

Load the Blade: Open the razor head by twisting the handle (check the manufacturer's instructions for specific details). Place a single RK blade on the base plate and align the tabs with the head. Close the head securely.

Shaving Angle: Hold the razor at a 30-degree angle to your skin.

Short Strokes: Use short, gentle strokes with minimal pressure, letting the razor's weight do the work. Shave with the grain on the first pass, then against the grain on subsequent passes (if desired).

Rinse & Repeat: Rinse the razor after each stroke and continue shaving until desired smoothness is achieved.

Rinse & Dry: Rinse the razor thoroughly with warm water and pat it dry with a towel. Store the razor in a dry place.

Blade Replacement: Replace the blade after 3-5 shaves (depending on your beard and shaving habits).

Excellent Razor

Beautiful design. Lightweight but not flimsy. Knurling is very nice. Provides a nice shave with no irritation. It glides and sings sweetly. Thus far I am loving this favor and God knows I have had many. I only wish I had bought one years ago.

Pasteur staff was quick with shipping. Service is top notch, as usual. Shout out to Leon and the rest of the folk.

Early day review

This razor has a nice hand. Sits on the face at a comfortable angle and cuts through the hairs without pulling. The handle is knurled with no feeling of slipping. I have only used it about a dozen times so far - the shave is almost as close as I get with my straight razor and about 25T Quicker. Buy with confidence.
