Extrò Cosmesi Due Novembre shaving soap is made in the traditional Italian 'croap' style; somewhere between a hard cream and a soft soap, with this soap sitting at the softer end of the spectrum, similar to putty.


As a result, this makes them super easy to lather up.

Made from a 100% vegetable base, these soaps offer superb glide and cushioning, and are ideal for vegans.

An intense cypress scent.

Handmade in Italy. 150 ml glass jar with screw-top lid. The jar and lid can be recycled.

Pretty good soap

I bought this as a blind purchase, along with the aftershave. This is a semi-firm soap that comes in a really nice, heavy glass jar. Scent strength is quite mild, ~ 3.5-4/10; it's a mild cypress scent that is nice but doesn't last too long.

Soap is very easy to lather and provides ample skin protection allowing for excellent glide and protection when shaving. Residual slickness and post-shave feel are very good; skin feels very hydrated and healthy afterwards.

Of note, this is very cool gray-graphite colored soap in the tub, with "Extro" stamped in the soap; a nice touch. Because of the color, I did use a cheaper tuxedo synthetic brush as I was concerned the color may stain one of my better brushes. I wanted to give 4.5 stars but it seems this is not possible; I docked a point (half a point, really) as I would have preferred the scent to be a bit stronger with greater longevity. Otherwise, the quality is exceptional.

Shipping was quick with Pasteur; I had an issue with another order and Carlos and his team were very helpful in resolving the matter. Very happy that Pasteur carries Italian artisan soaps and aftershaves.
