While this particular name may be off-putting, the scent is magnificent – you might even call it royal.
In the mid-18th century there lived a thoroughbred racehorse, presumably named after a particularly famous (or infamous) king. Were you to ask anyone on the street what they think of when they hear that horse’s name, I would wager that they would immediately think of the king, not the horse. That particular king is, at least at present, most remembered for a particularly bloody-handed decision well known as the Massacre of the Innocents.
While this particular name may be off-putting, the scent is magnificent – you might even call it royal.
Top notes: cinnamon and pepper wood.
Heart: osmanthus, tobacco leaf, labdanum and incense.
Base: vanilla, cedar, vetiver, patchouli, iso e super, cypriol and musk.
BASE: Milksteak is my tongue-in-cheek name for the culmination of all of my soapcrafting experience to date. While the name may be whimsical, it was an incredibly difficult decision to deprecate Bison and Icarus – one I would not make without full confidence that I was releasing not only the best soap base I have ever developed, but one of the finest soap bases ever created.
