The label was designed by renowned designer Jonathan Landstrom. He is a traditional shaver, and very creative graphic designer. The label art is of a WW1 helmet. Just amazing work!
The idea for this release came from one of my razor sets, the Gillette Khaki set. It was issued to troops in the Army in World War 1 (WWI). I have collected a few sets now, but the one that gave me the inspiration was issued in 1918. With Memorial Day right around the corner, I thought it would be an amazing release. To showcase the brave men and women of the military. Some of which gave everything and perished defending Freedom!
When you look at the Gillette Khaki set, in the top right corner It should say Property of US Army. That means the set was issued to a soldier. If the set say Property of the USA, then the set was released to civilians in an effort to support the military efforts.
Each set is stamped with a serial number. Gillette used the serial numbers to date code their razors.
1918 dates codes are: E449208-J7344 Plus F/G/H (no I) J Series all U.S. military
1919 dates codes are: J7345-K927216 J Series all U.S. military

With the skin loving ingredients this aftershave compliments the matching soap. This aftershave not only nourishes your skin after your close shave, but that it replenishes, rejuvenates, and reinvigorates your skin. The scent carries with you for a while, but won’t be overwhelming. You will still enjoy the scent, without overpowering your family and friends when you walk into the room. With this large 4 ounce bottle it will last for a long time!
let’s talk about the base upgrades. Skin loving oils: I kept trying to make the shaving experience more effective and efficient. Post shave is where we needed to upgrade out aftershave. We added some Jojoba, Apricot, Almond oils and Hydrolyzed Silk Protein. Adding these will help the skin feel smooth, slick, and nourished. These non comedogenic oils (oils that won’t clog pores) help support the post shave experience. Jojoba oil is known to be as close to our natural oils. That’s one reason why it’s absorbed so well into the skin.
Deus Vult base ingredients: Alcohol, Witch Hazel, Distilled water, Hydrovance, Rose Hydrosol, Jojoba oil, Panthenol, Allantoin, Hydrolyzed Silk, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, Fragrance.
