For The Boys Shaving Soap is a new scent that will be available for a short time only. For The Boys shaving soap is a very personal soap and an acknowledgement to my gorgeous sheep (all wethers) who I always refer to as My Boys. It is also an acknowledgement of the beautiful rural property that I live on and makes my heart sing with joy. The aquatic notes are in honour of my special friends in tropical Vanuatu a place I love.
Freedom is something to be valued and appreciated. For The Boys shaving soap scent is reminiscent of the freedom that summer holidays offer including sea water and the warm woody and musk scent that lingers in the summer air. The top notes of this soap include aquatic and bergamot. The heart notes include geranium, sage and rosemary with a base of incense and patchouli.
Scent
First of all our sense of smell is linked in with memory. This is why different smells can invoke different reactions. Consequently they can transport us back in time linking us into the powerful memories of childhood and wonderful life experiences. Our All Things Nice shaving soap travel size is sweet and reminiscent of the smell of spring.
About our ingredients
Especially relevant is that we have sourced a sustainable ingredients including palm oil (stearic acid), coconut oil, shea butter, cocoa butter and avocado oil provide excellent moisturising qualities. As a result the butters have been chosen for their lathering qualities. In addition their moisturising qualities will leave your skin with a lovely post shave feel.The lanolin has been sourced ethically and cruelty free. Our soap has not been tested on animals and is made in beautiful country NSW.
Directions
A shaving brush should be used to get the best out of our soap. Start by soaking your brush in water and then remove excess water by gently shaking the brush. Next load your brush from the tub until you have what resembles a paste on the tips of your brush hairs. You can then either lather up on your face or in bowl. You can add small amounts of water (drips off your fingers) at a time until you have a thick lather. The aim is a meringue like texture with peaks. It should have the consistency of yoghurt as this gives superb glide and protection as you shave.
Warning when to stop using
If you have any form of reaction please stop using the soap. It is more likely that you are sensitive to the essential oils in the soap and not the soap itself.
