The RazoRock Superslant is a razor that has been two years in the making. Ever since our first slant, the RazoRock Stealth, we knew the slant concept was something special. Client feedback overwhelming told us that people loved the shave from our slant razors and it quickly became no secret that a helical slant’s added torque on the long axis of a double-edge blade adds stiffness and rigidity to the cutting edge. Why is this important? When you take a very thin very sharp blade and make it really stiff it cuts with greater efficiency, this translates to less tugging on the hairs and less irritation while shaving. Add this to the fact the blade is held at an angle to the shaving plane giving a slicing action to the shave versus a tradition shaving razor that applies more of a chopping action. The combination of these two attributes lead to a superior shave!

Wow. I always liked slants and particularly double slants but had questions about blade contour/presentation. This new design, I think, addresses that concern pretty conclusively. Really efficient and smooth, despite a seemingly scary blade gap. I used it two days ago and almost felt like I wouldn't need to shave for another week. Very, very pleased. The other benefit of this is that there are interchangeable plates to modify the degree of aggression and.....interchangeable open comb plates in the future!!! This is a real win.

I have an unhealthy fascination with slants, and that has sometimes led to overly aggressive shaves that left me with a red and bleeding face. However, this morning I had what has to be the most efficient shave I've had in recent history. Of particular note is the fact that it was incredibly smooth. No humans were injured in the making of this review. The Superslant is truly a winner, and, despite the ++ designation and the seemingly large blade gap, the Superslant is fantastic. Just be respectful......
