First of all, the Dual Seat (DE)'s BBS head geometry is curvier than any other razor we've used. There is a lot of torque on the DE blade and the edge is stronger. All good razors know the secret to achieving a smooth, no-shave shave with fine, sharp blades! The second reason is that the RazoRock BBS reduces the cutting angle from 45 degrees (the angle of the handle and the blade) to 35 degrees due to the geometry of the cutting head. This increases the performance of the shaving heads as well as the strength and weight of the handle to guide the shaving heads comfortably across the skin.
