Love the size of this brush and how quickly it generates a thick lather from my shaving cream (I use Taylor of Old Bond Street unscented organic). The fibers are soft but have a nice spring to them, not floppy like the synthetic brush I bought 5 or 6 years ago. Unlike badger hair it doesn't hold heat from the water very long, but the last two badger brushes I bought started shedding hair after 12 to 15 months, and synthetic fiber lasts longer (and at this price I can afford to replace it in a few years if it sheds).
