There is a lot to like when it comes to Sterling Soap Co shaving soaps. First of all the value is extremely high for those that want to get a little more than what they paid for,. Sterling Soaps are packaged at 5.8 in large green trade mark tube. At $14.95 you get your money's worth for sure. Secondly the two soaps I have had from Sterling are this one the Sterling Noir and I also had Island man ( a fabulous scent by the way )and in both cases the scent strength is very positively a 7 on a one to 10 scale in strength and lingering qualities. With the Noir I was hoping a little closer to Drakkar Noir scent and although nice and strong to me it has a dime store copy kinda smell to it . So in that case I was a little disappointed. I got a good shave with this Noir and a pretty decent after shave feel but for two more dollars you can get superior conditioning ingredients for 5.8 oz of 345 soaps like Gen Patton for example and that is why the 4 Star over a 5 Star rating.
