Shea Butter has skin soothing properties that make it ideal for a shaving soap.
The goal was to create a shaving soap from the most simple high quality ingredients that also has tons of creamy, stable lather. Our soaps are made in small batches with only the finest ingredients. We specifically created a well balanced formula designed for all skin types (Normal, Oily, or Sensitive Skin) with no artificial colors, no Parabens, no Sodium Lauryl Sulfates, and no Palm Oil or Phthalates when at all possible.

Shea Butter has skin soothing properties that make it ideal for a shaving soap. High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make Shea butter an excellent skin softener. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Coconut Oil reduces wound healing times, and also has superior antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral properties. Glycerin gives the soap "slip" and leaves your face feeling moisturized.


FRAGRANCE: Nothing but the highest quality distilled essential Lime Oil. Limeade is a refreshing, clean and uncomplicated fragrance that won't interfere with your regular aftershave or cologne.

SIZE: Each pre-filled tin contains approximately 4 ounces of shaving soap. These are handmade and weight can vary.

The shaving bowl measures 4 inches in diameter and 1 inch high.

Suitable for all skin types: This formula is gentle enough for normal, oily, and even sensitive skin.

Natural ingredients: Made with high-quality, all-natural ingredients like shea butter and coconut oil. Free of harsh chemicals like artificial colors, parabens, sulfates, and palm oil.

Moisturizing: Shea butter and glycerin soothe and hydrate the skin, preventing dryness and razor burn.

Healing: Shea butter's anti-inflammatory properties help heal minor nicks and irritation.

Refreshing scent: The Limeade fragrance is clean and light, complementing your aftershave or cologne.

Distilled Water, Coconut Oil, Stearic Acid, Castor Oil, Shea Butter, Glycerin, Essential Oil.

  1. Take a small amount of soap (about the size of an almond) with your finger.
  2. Place the soap in a shaving bowl.
  3. Soak your shaving brush in hot water.
  4. Swirl the brush in the bowl to create a rich lather.
  5. Apply the lather to your face in a circular motion.

Elysian makes a very good shave base. You will get a very nice lather without too much effort. I do wish the container were a bit larger with more room to load the brush. The resulting shave is very slick. The Limeade scent is very refreshing and quite tart.
