Legends abound of the remarkable skill of Italian violin virtuoso Niccolò Paganini, the greatest violinist of his time. He was so singularly talented that the story goes that he was playing a new composition at a nobleman's villa one evening, a piece commissioned by the nobleman to draw a pretty woman's affections. Paganini played beautifully, surrounded by admiring listeners, until one of the strings on the instrument snapped. Undaunted, Paganini continued to play without missing a note, and a second string snapped. He continued without interruption, to the amazement of everyone around him. Surely he could not continue? But then a third string snapped, and still Paganini continued to play, completing his performance on only the one remaining string on the violin. Awestruck, the listeners broke into thunderous applause, and the legend of Niccolò Paganini grew.

But in his later years, when asked by a biographer about the story, Paganini revealed the truth: the piece had been specifically written to be played on successively fewer strings, and it was Paganini himself who broke each one as he played, dazzling his audience in the process.

For Paganini's Violin, we have composed a fragrance built on multiple variations on a single note, all playing together into one unified, singular whole. The smell of clean skin after a hot shower, interlaced with fruity undercurrents and tea, Paganini's Violin is one of our most unusual experiments, and decidedly an in-house favorite. We know you'll love it too.

Uplifting Scent: Provides a refreshing start to your day.

Long-Lasting Fragrance: Keeps you feeling invigorated throughout the day.

Rich Lather (for Shaving Soap): Creates a luxurious lather for a close, comfortable shave. (Omit this line if it's an aftershave)

Ingredients:Aqua, Potassium Stearate, Glycerin, Potassium Tallowate, Potassium Kokum Butterate, Sodium Stearate, Polyacrylamidomethylpropane Sulfonic Acid, Cocos nucifera Fruit Juice (Coconut Milk), Potassium Ricinoleate, Sodium Tallowate, Sodium Lactate, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) Butter, Tetrasodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Fragrance, Xanthan Gum, Theobroma grandiflorum (Cupuacu) Butter, Sodium Kokum Butterate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Potassium Cocoate, Saccharide Isomerate, Sodium Ricinoleate, Goat Milk Powder, Persea gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Sodium Cocoate, Althaea officinalis (Marshmallow Root) Extract, Ulmus rubra (Slippery Elm) Extract

Wet your shaving brush thoroughly with warm water. Hold the bristles under running water and gently swirl them to distribute the water evenly. Aim for a good soaking, not dripping.

Load the brush. There are two methods:

Bowl Lathering: Squeeze some shaving soap onto the bottom of your shaving bowl or mug. With the wet brush, swirl it on the soap puck in a circular motion for 30-60 seconds. You'll see the lather begin to build. Add a few drops of water periodically to maintain a creamy consistency.

Face Lathering: Apply a thin layer of shaving soap directly to your shaving area using the wet brush. With the brush, gently swirl the soap on your face in a circular motion, creating a lather. This method may require more practice to achieve a good lather.

Build the lather. Continue swirling the brush in your bowl or on your face until you achieve a thick, creamy lather. It should have a consistency similar to whipped cream.

Apply the lather to your shaving area. Use a brush to spread the lather evenly over your shaving area in a circular motion. Aim for a light, opaque layer.

Shave. Using a sharp razor, shave with the grain (the direction your beard hair grows). Rinse the razor frequently to remove any shaving cream buildup. You may consider a second pass against the grain for a closer shave, but be cautious to avoid irritation.

Rinse and pat dry. Rinse your face with cool water to remove the shaving cream. Pat your face dry with a clean towel.
