Black Soot Powder 5 oz / 141 g.
Black soot powder is a skin-safe specialty pigment used in special FX makeup. Create realistic burn effects, charring and black grease effects easily with this powder. It is also the best way to create a dirty appearance. This includes characters such as chimney sweeps, coal miners, or even your average Charles Dickens street urchin. Mix this powder with a variety of liquid mediums to create dripping, oozing, greasy effects. For example, mix it with Blood Gel to make a bloody, crusty burn. Add it to Castor Seal or Liquid Pain and Sorrow to simulate grease or oil. This dark pigment can also be mixed with other special FX powders, like Texas Dirt or Ash dust. This creates different colored soils for more realistic effects. Use them to make any number of dirty, post-apocalyptic effects. Finally, add translucent setting powder for to create a lighter, more subtle soiled look.
To use: Test clothing before use. Apply black soot powder with fingers, sponge, or brushes.
Due to the variance in the display of colors across different monitor types, color swatches may not be an exact match to the actual product. Use for reference only.
